Terms and Conditions
We know that reading terms and conditions is mind numbing stuff and you would probably rather do anything but! Buuuuuut it’s full of lots of important (and handy!) information which is going to help make this slumber party very straight forward and enjoyable! So before you book with us make sure you give it a read.
By placing an order with us you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions of hire:
Quotations
All quotes expire within 7 calendar days. A quotation does not secure the equipment or event date until the deposit has been paid.
Deposit
All Dreamy Teepees bookings require an upfront $50 deposit at time of booking to secure your event date. Until the deposit has been received Dreamy Teepees reserves the right to liaise with other clients for the same event date and equipment. Please check before paying to ensure the desired event date is still available.
Final Payment
Final payment is due no later than 7 days prior to the event date, along with your security bond (see paragraph 4 security bond). We except direct deposit and please allow at least three business days to ensure your payment clears on time. Equipment will not be released until full payment has been received.
Security Bond
All Dreamy Teepees bookings require a $75 security bond payment which is due 7 days prior to the event date. The security bond will be refunded within 3 business days of return of the equipment less any charges incurred for lost or damaged items in accordance with paragraph 10 (Loss or Damage) below. If the replacement amount is higher than the security bond amount the hirer is liable to pay any additional charges.
Final Numbers
Any changes to final numbers need to be made in writing no later than 7 days prior to the event date. If guest numbers are not revised by this date we will assume that guest numbers remain the same. Refunds will not be given to guests who do not show up on the day.
Cancellation/ Reschedule
7 days’ notice must be given for all cancellations. Any cancellations after this time will result in loss of deposit. Any request for change of date of a booking must be made a minimum of 7 days prior to the event date, this request will be granted only if the desired event date is available. Otherwise we’re happy to work with you to find a date that is available.
Collection and Return
Collection is usually every Friday or Saturday morning. When making your booking please provide the approximate pick up time you would prefer and we will confirm this with you 7 days prior to your event. Return of goods is every Sunday afternoon at our Gold Coast studio. We will confirm a return time with you 7 days prior to the event date. Important: As our office is not always staffed, collection must be at the agreed upon time. We can arrange delivery/ pick up for an additional charge. Please contact us for prices.
Acceptance of Goods
It is the hirers responsibility to inspect all items upon collection. If the hirer fails to do this the goods will be deemed to have been delivered in the correct quantity and in a clean and undamaged condition. If there is no one available to check the items, the goods will be deemed to have been delivered in a clean and undamaged condition.
Cleaning
Please ensure that all linen hired is removed of debris and dry before placing in the bags provided for return. Cleaning and laundering of manchester is included with all our hire packages, however if items are returned stained or excessively dirty a cleaning fee of $30 will apply.
Loss or Damage
Strictly no pets are permitted on any Dreamy Teepee hire property. The hirer is responsible for the security of Dreamy Teepee property at all times during the hire period. Any broken, damaged or lost property will be charged to the hirer at full replacement value.
Packaging
Equipment will be packaged carefully and must be returned to Dreamy Teepees repackaged with the same due care and placed back into the original boxes and crates.
Dreamy Extras
Please note that our Dreamy Extra's sleep masks and hair brush styles may be different to photo's illustrated on our website depending on stock availability. Dreamy Teepee's will do their upmost to supply the closest match and most suitable alternative in the event that our usual styles cannot be obtained in time for your party. Any Dreamy Extra's provided are yours to keep- these items are not part of the dry hire.
Duty Of Care
It is the responsibility of the hirer to take duty of care and always supervise children with the hire equipment. Our hire products include items with glass which can cause a hazard if broken and our garlands and string lights can be a strangulation hazard if used inappropriately. Dreamy Teepee hire equipment is not suitable for children under 5 years of age. Dreamy Teepee’s is not liable for any claim for personal injury, death, loss or damage to the property however caused unless it is proved that such injury was caused by faulty material, workmanship or negligence on the part of Dreamy Teepee’s.
